Asian Desert Warbler (Sylvia nana)

Asian Desert Warbler (Sylvia nana)

It was a winter morning in Thar desert (Rajasthan), when the sun had just risen. After shooting a couple of cinereous vultures in the sand dunes I was walking back with my friends. We saw a Desert Warbler busy in the bushes. We all settled down for a shot of the bird. The bird was so busy pecking the buds and seeds from the bushes that it totally ignored us. At one point, it came so close to me that I couldn't shoot. It came so close to my lap and looked at me with its cute yellow eyes. I can't forget that moment ever in my life. The moment when I felt we gained the trust of the bird or the bird had accepted my our presence.
